Ryan Zimmerman is still in the Nationals’ lineup despite his plantar fasciitis pain. Although his game has been unaffected by the condition, Zimmerman has been suffering with chronic pain since April despite regular treatment. What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis is the inflammation of a the thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of your foot, known as the plantar fascia, and causes mild to severe heel pain.
