Kim Kardashian has recently taken on a new foot procedure called a “Loub Job” to reduce high heel foot pain such as the hallux limitus. Hallux limitus occurs in the big toe and causes limited movement in one of the joints leaving the toe unable to move up or down. The procedure involves injecting hyaluronic acid into the first joint of the big toe to restore lubrication and cushioning to the joint.

The procedure is said to reduce pain and increase the range of motion in the toe. Kardashian and many high heel wearing women are opting into the procedure to avoid surgery.

What You Need To Know About Hallux Limitus
Hallux limitus is a medical condition which stands for “stiff toe.” This is an arthritic condition in which movement of the big toe is constrained. The pain is usually allocated between the large toe and foot.
